Tuesday’s are a CRAZY day for me and school!
- 11:00-12:15 Biology for Biomedicine II lecture
- 12:30-1:45 Micronutrients lecture
- 3:30-4:30 Nutrition Care Club meeting
- 6:30-9:15 Biology for Biomedicine II lab
And I usually don’t get let out until 9:15 – which is past my bedtime! (Yes, I am a grandmother in a college student’s body.) Needless to say, on Tuesdays, I am not happy camper. I need to bring all of my food with me and maintain a constant coffee stream…and when I say constant, I mean constant!
Starting March 27, 2017 I am doing (at least) two weeks of intermittent fasting. I’m going to follow the 16 hours off, 8 hours on model to see how that goes for me. I’ve been stuck at the same weight for awhile now so I’m giving this a try! There’s a ton of science about it and I’ll write a post about it later! I’ll be posting updates on my intermittent fasting experience and how it’s worked for me.
This is just a normal day of eating for me on a busy Tuesday after my run. In total, today ran be 1656 calories, which was perfect because I am extra hungry on my monster Tuesdays!
Breakfast: Banana nicecream with frozen bananas, frozen cauliflower, and 15g vanilla vega sport performance protein powder!
Snack: Beet smoothie with beets, blueberries, blackberries, acai berries, frozen cauliflower, banana, and 15g chocolate vega all-in-one nutritional shake. And an apple!
Lunch Pt 1: Roasted cauliflower, potatoes, white beets, and tempeh with horseradish hummus from Trader Joe’s!
Dinner: Farro Minestrone
